A Message for Mothers

Who's the fairest of them all?

We all know that line but when asked this question most people will say "my mother" is/was the fairest of them all.

Sometimes it is because of physical beauty, but usually it is because of the beauty our children see in us that we often do not see in ourselves. Most of us are so critical, always comparing ourselves to other women asking "is she younger looking, thinner, prettier, sexier than me?"

It's time to celebrate the beauty of motherhood by letting yourself see what your children see....Look in the mirror girls and see the beauty that is there.

Sure, we all need a little help once in a while. I look like a "scary monster" when I first wake up in the morning, but I can be rescued. We all can. A simplified beauty routine that addresses the signs of aging, encourages a naturally flawless complexion and is designed to restore a youthful appearance is just the confidence boost we need to face the day and all the challenges of motherhood. And all the good stuff too...remember, your child thinks you are the most beautifullest mom in the whole world... because you are!

I Better Stick to Makeup!

I absolutely LOVE learning about the scientific innovations behind our products at Fusion Beauty . I find it so fascinating. It is amazing to me how advanced science has impacted the world of cosmetics. Although I am not a chemist I have to say that I'm pretty competent at understanding the ingredients, how they work and why they are so effective. I like to think that with twenty years in the beauty business I know one or two things about makeup. I am well educated.  Most of the reading I do these days is to my kids but I still know how to work through a document and gather  the information I need from it.  Where am I going with this?  Here's my point..... I am a forty two year old reasonably intelligent woman so WHY AM I NOT ABLE TO LOAD MUSIC ONTO MY IPOD??? This truly is rocket science as the saying goes. I had to get my kids teenaged babysitter to do it for me. Now, until I asked around I must say I was feeling pretty useless, but after talking to a few of my equally "challenged" girlfriends I have discovered that I am not alone. I remember my mom leaving her VCR (remember those? ) with the flashing 12:00 , 12:00, 12:00 and just putting a book or something in front of it because she didn't know how to set the clock. I guess I have reached "that point" in my life have I ? Okay, better stick to makeup. Hopefully, if I look good no one will notice how stupid I am! hahaha!
